Hello, and Welcome! This site has been developed for many purposes, but the overall goal is to share the past and ongoing projects of Cassie Alyse Jones. Cassie is educated as a fiber artist but also branches out into other fields of study ranging from painting to marine biology. Most of her work shares general qualities of the rugged, the raw, and the unpredictability of working with chance through material choices.
Because much of this work is unrelated to each other in any one conceptual thought, if you have any questions relating to artist statements, up-coming work, or ideas on collaborating, feel free to contact the artist. Suggestions and critiques are always welcome and appreciated as well.

Victoria's Leather gets a new Clutch!

Things at Victoria’s are moving along quite well. I have designed a small clutch for the Fall collection to be in stores soon. The samples were just finished yesterday and will be photographed and on the website shortly.

Bought a New Spinning Wheel!

I finally purchased my own spinning wheel! Its not a traditional wheel but a modern upright Louet made in Holland. I learned on a more traditional Saxony wheel and this is much more simple and seems to work well regardless of my fiber choice.
